MARTYR (Makropol)
Sound Designer & ComposerExcerpt
(Theatre-dinner-performance / VR)
MARTYR explores animal-human relationships through food, theatre and collective virtual reality.
I accompanied the performance with a quadrophonic soundscape surrounding the build-in miniature HMD speakers.
This hybrid allowed for a collective as well as personalized sound experience, allocating design and music elements to both speaker systems.
My role: Audio concept, composition, recording, production, sound design, integration, mix/master, on-site installation.
Tools: Ableton Live, LPX, Unity and QLab.
End of Night (Makropol / Novelab)

(Cinematic VR / installation)
1943. A living landscape of painful recollections from the night of a mans escape to Sweden as he rows through his memories in a fragmented, dreamlike state.
Inspired by the music of William Basinski, I manipulated the sound design with tape-effects - mirroring the replayed, worn out and sometimes broken memories of the protagonist.
The project won best Immersive Story at Venice 2021, Best Film at CPH:PIX 2021 and multiple other awards.
My role: On-set recording, audio concept, sound design, integration, mix/master, on-site installation.
Tools: Pro Tools, LPX, Wwise, Unity and C#
HUSH (Final Cut For Real)
Sound DesignerTrailer
(Cinematic VR / installation)
Hush is an award-winning immersive experience rooted in the Northern myths of the mer-people.
The soundscape is a blend of multi-speaker installation audio and headphone-based 3D audio, submerging you in a suggestive underwater world, where the distinction between reality and imagination, man and nature, disappears.
I mixed location recordings with hushes and whispers and had the sound design subtly reacts to the user's head turns, as if moving through deep waters.
My Role: Sound design, integration, mix/master, on-site installation.
Tools: Pro Tools, LPX, Wwise, Unity, C#
Death of a Saint (Monolit Film)
ComposerTrailer
(Documentary Feature)
Thirty years after the killing of Patricia's mother, she is finally ready to return home and take a look at her traumatic past.
The music consists of multiple organ sounds, acoustic piano, synthesizers and choir arrangements. We wanted the score to have a feeling of being in church and of lo-fi home-video recordings. Elevated but still earthbound.
The film won the Special Jury Award at Hot Docs in Toronto 2024.
My role: Composition, performance, recording, production
Tools: Acoustic, analogue and VST instruments, Pro Tools, LPX
